I've seen this done on other RP guild websites - even participated for a while! It was a lot of fun!
The idea is that a topic is posted every week (or so - this is dependent on how well this is received) and you may choose to write a small blurb, or a several paragraph short explaining how your character acts or reacts to the scenario - perhaps share an episode from his or her past. It could be something boring, or an epic adventure. Where you go with it is up to you!

First theme: An Average Day. I know that Crura has a short by the same name as this theme; however, I'm looking for something more along the lines of how you might spend an average day now, in this lull between expansions!
"The answers are here. I can feel it." - Brann Bronzebeard
Crura Darkmine: Dark Iron Warrior, Smith, and Mountain Champion Kalrum Greatforge: Bronzebeard Warlock, Loremaster, and Master Enchanter Mairla Greatforge: Bronzebeard Paladin of Tyr, Jeweler, and Explorer
Challenge time! Only two days to complete this! *maniacal laughter*
Artifact Discovery: A greedy Goblin has offered you the deal of the lifetime to retrieve a rare artifact from Uldaman! Retrieving it will be a difficult task, and famed archaeologist Harrison Jones approaches you about the object's dangerous power. Do you delve into Uldaman, and acquire the artifact? Do you stay home and play it safe? Do you give the artifact to the Goblin, or to Harrison Jones? Only you can decide!
Trouble at the Tavern: While spending an evening at your favorite pub unwinding from a hard day of work, you notice a burly worgen stare at you. He never orders a drink, nor does he talk to anyone - only intently focused on watching your every move. Near him is a group of other worgen, well-armed and equipped. Do you risk asking the worgen to stop (and potentially getting into a brawl), do you continue drinking until he approaches you, or do you leave the pub? Only you can decide!
My apologies for the delayed prompt (there was a break last week because of the Special Theme Competition).
(Your character)'s History: Their First Mount Many have their own personal mount within the wide realm of Azeroth and beyond, but few share a special bond with them. This is the history of your character's first mount, what they did to acquire it or how they bonded with it over the years... and the sacrifices they've made to keep them.
When you title your story, be sure to replace (Your character) with your character's name. Here's an example:
Thelodahr's History: His First Mount
This title is not necessary, but it is there for anyone who wishes to use it. 😉
A new prompt will be available by week's end (November 18th). Five days to write, let's be creative!
Petty Theft: While walking through a city (Stormwind, Ironforge, etc...), you notice your coinpurse has gone missing. To your surprise, you see a shrouded figure running down the street away from you with it! How would your character react? Would they let the thief go free, or would they chase after them in hot pursuit?
I see that there hasn't been a prompt posted for a bit, so I thought perhaps I'd get in on this as well. This is the prompt I'm currently working on for Nurma, and I'm interested to see if anyone else has any thoughts about their character's childhood aspirations.
Childhood Dreams: When we were all young, we looked into the future and saw ourselves as something truly amazing. Something awe-inspiring and powerful. We saw ourselves as heroes, immortal and untouchable.
How have the visions of your character's younger self changed? What would the childhood version of your character think of them now? What would they say? What would your character say to them?
